Su rol fue clave para dotar a la iniciativa de una visión social y ética de dignidad del trabajo e inclusión, asegurando el respaldo y la voz pública para visibilizar el modelo en la Región del Biobío y posicionarlo como referente nacional.   #### **Iniciativa** **"Fundación Lavandería Industrial 21":** Primera empresa social inclusiva de su tipo en Chile (Concepción, Región del Biobío) que combina la prestación de un servicio de lavandería industrial con la inclusión laboral y capacitación de personas con síndrome de Down. - Metodología: proceso formativo con simulaciones de puestos y acompañamiento por preparadores laborales para alcanzar la autonomía progresiva (1-2 años). - Foco territorial: impacto directo en la inserción laboral de personas con discapacidad de la Región del Biobío. #### **Impacto** - Trayectoria Consolidada: funcionamiento continuo desde agosto de 2014, demostrando sostenibilidad en el tiempo. - Impacto directo: ha brindado empleo y capacitación a más de 40 jóvenes con síndrome de Down. - Alcance territorial: impacto en la Región del Biobío, fortaleciendo redes con la academia (UCSC) y sensibilizando a empresas locales sobre la contratación inclusiva. - Inclusión real: el modelo incluye acompañamiento de 1-2 años para que los trabajadores busquen y logren autonomía en otros puestos de trabajo fuera de la lavandería. #### **Innovación** - Modelo de innovación social: transforma un servicio tradicional (lavandería) en una plataforma productiva de capacitación e inclusión laboral para un grupo vulnerable, demostrando excelencia en contextos productivos. - Sostenibilidad regional: el éxito radica en la combinación de calidad de servicio, sostenibilidad social y dignidad del trabajo, rompiendo prejuicios y estableciendo un modelo replicable para otras regiones y rubros de Chile. - Liderazgo fundacional: su impulso inicial fue clave para generar un cambio cultural en Concepción, posicionando a la ciudad como referente en inclusión y trabajo digno.
